How we collect, use, and protect your personal information

YEOSU SAEGOMAK Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) complies with the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) of Korea and other applicable laws, and establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy as follows to safely protect the personal information of data subjects and to handle related grievances promptly and smoothly.

Article 1 (Personal Information Collected and Collection Methods)

The Company collects the following personal information when inquiries are submitted through the website (buyer inquiries, domestic trade inquiries, OEM/ODM inquiries, and export voucher inquiries).

  • Required items: company (affiliation), name, phone number, email address, and inquiry details
  • Automatically collected items: IP address (to prevent spam and misuse)

Article 2 (Purposes of Processing Personal Information)

The Company processes the collected personal information only for the following purposes. If any purpose changes, the Company will take necessary measures, such as obtaining separate consent, in accordance with applicable laws.

  • Receiving inquiries, responding to consultations, and replying with handling results
  • Preventing spam and fraudulent use and ensuring service stability

Article 3 (Retention and Use Period of Personal Information)

The Company retains records of inquiry receipt and handling for three (3) years, applying mutatis mutandis the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc. of Korea, and destroys them without delay thereafter (records on the handling of consumer complaints or disputes: 3 years).

Article 4 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

The Company does not provide personal information of data subjects to third parties, except where the data subject has given prior consent or where otherwise specifically provided by law.

Article 5 (Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing)

The Company does not currently outsource any personal information processing related to inquiry handling. Should any outsourcing occur in the future, the Company will disclose the outsourcee and the scope of the outsourced work through this policy without delay.

Article 6 (Destruction Procedures and Methods)

The Company destroys personal information without delay once the retention period has elapsed or the purpose of processing has been achieved.

  • Electronic files: permanently deleted in a manner that prevents recovery or restoration
  • Paper documents: shredded or incinerated

Article 7 (Rights of Data Subjects and How to Exercise Them)

Data subjects may at any time request the Company to allow access to, correct, delete, or suspend the processing of their personal information. Such requests may be made in writing, by phone, or by email to the privacy officer under Article 8, and the Company will take action without delay.

Article 8 (Privacy Officer)

The Company has designated the following department responsible for personal information protection to oversee personal information processing and to handle inquiries, complaints, and remedies of data subjects regarding personal information.

Article 9 (Changes to This Privacy Policy)

Any additions, deletions, or amendments to this policy will be announced through the website notice board before taking effect.
